The highlights of this campaign focus on qaulity of life compared to that of Los Angeles, CA. I am originally from Los Angeles and I can relate to this new campaign. In this campaign we see that there is a comparison between housing in Los Angeles and Summerlin. The dollar per square foot comparison is dramatic. In Los Angeles, a 794 square foot condo is around $629.00 per square foot. In Summerlin West a 2,115 square foot home is at $232.00 per square foot. Summerlin continues to see growth in housing as well as commercial space development. The area still has over 6,00 acres left to develop over the next 15 to 20 years. The Summerlin West area has new villages which include Redpoint Summerlin, Redpoint Square Summerlin, Kestrel Summerlin and Kestrel Commons Summerlin. More communities will be developed as well as future commercial growth.

When I left Los Angles, CA. in 2003, I had enough. Traffic was bad for me at 4:30 in the morning just driving 10 miles to work would some times take me 1 and a half hours to get to work. I could bike ride to work faster than I could driving my car. When you take your drive times in as a factor of wasted time, stress and lost time during the day, it adds up. With this new ad campaign that The Howard Hughes Corporation is starting, it’s clear to me that they want to relocate California businesses to Summerlin. They are willing to discuss custom, development ready corporate headquaters, and regional campus ideas. Nevada is a business friendly state. No personal income taxes for individuals, no absurd business regulations like California has and there is not a high cost of living here too. Summerlin West is also the main focus of this new campaign.
