Summerlin might be part of Las Vegas, but it is its own unique community in many ways. What makes Summerlin so unique comes from the residents who have moved to Summerlin from all over the U.S. Additionally, many community events occur throughout the year in Summerlin. Here’s a short list of the many Summerlin events in June 2022 worth checking out.
The Friday Nite Live summer concert series kicks off on June 3 at Trails Park. It is a free musical event for the whole family to enjoy. The evening concert in the park features Pleasure Cruise, the top yacht rock band in Las Vegas. Families can come to the park to relax as they play popular smooth rock hits from the 70s and 80s. The event starts at 6 pm, and it is open lawn seating, so make sure to bring your folding chairs or a blanket to sit on. Attendees are also welcome to bring food and beverages to consume during the concert.
Residents and visitors can participate in a SALT Contemporary Dance Company performance on June 4. It starts at 6 pm at the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center.
The event will include a performance of a mixed-repertoire dance. Performances will include choreography from a range of world-renowned choreographers.
It could be an engaging evening for adults and teens. The event is free, and the seating is first-come, first-served.
Summerlin is known for its world-class golf courses. With the Angels on the Greens Golf Tournament, you can golf for a good cause. Angels of Las Vegas are holding the event, and the proceeds will support the charity’s work. Golfers can register for $225 as individuals or $400 as a foursome. Participants can check in at 7:15 am on June 24, and the tournament starts at 8:00 am. An awards ceremony with prizes for some participants is directly after the event. There is also a lunch and a raffle.
Summerlin is a community with so much going on. These are just a few of the events from one month in Summerlin. As a part of Las Vegas, you also have some of the best entertainment in the world, just a short drive away.
