Construction is moving along. Roads leading up to Astra at La Madre Peaks are now paved. All of the lots are now completed, streets are paved, and new lots are being created for the second phase of custom lots to the north of the first completed lots. In my new August 2025 video, I fly over the 39 new lots that are under construction right now.
Several other Realtors are reporting 171 custom lots in Astra at La Madre Peaks. I can confirm only the first 44 lots in this first phase of Astra at La Madre Peaks and now an additional 39 new lots in phase 2. This is based on the site maps that I have seen and I have published below on this page.
Things change all the time when it comes to information and what Howard Hughes Corporation releases to us in the industry. My goal is to give you current information based on facts and evidence I can verify from govenrment sources before I publish it.
Amaya Summerlin was the original project name and the Review-Journal has confirmed with Howard Hughes that the new name is Astra at La Madre Peaks. There are several planning commission meetings that have allowed street name changes to reflect this possible change. Amaya Canyon is now known as Astra Canyon. I will keep you updated on any new information I can get my hands on. Astra at La Madre Peaks Custom Home Sites- Astra located in Summerlin West will be a gated community with amazing views surrounded by mountains to the west and city views to the east. Howard Hughes Corporation has not released a lot of information as of yet about this community.

Astra at La Madre Peaks will also be within walking distance of the Summerlin Grand Park as well as the Summerlin West Urban Core project that is still being developed.
This will be a gated community with 44 lots in the first phase of construction and the new second phase that will see 39 new custom home lots available in the near future.
Astra Summerlin will also have a private access street from Lake Mead Blvd into the community.
