Downtown Summerlin opened in 2014 and the community was very happy! Finally Summerlin residents had a place to shop, eat, hang out, work and it was easy to get to! Downtown Summerlin has plenty of restaurants, shops like Macy’s and Dillards, a movie theater, Dave and Busters and much more! Trader Joes is also on the propery for all of your grocery store needs.
There are plenty of community events and things to do! A weekly farmers market, voga in the park, ice skating which is seasonal, walk your dog, hang out with friends, and family in an area that is located close by homes, condos, and town homes.
Summerlin is a community located 14 miles west of the famous Las Vegas Strip. Several builders have developed Summerlin over the years such as KB Home, Toll Brothers, William Lyons and Woodside Homes. Summerlin has a variety of homes that start in the mid $350,000.00 pricing point to well over 15 million dollars if you are looking for a luxury home. This area will continue to see the building of new homes and commerical spaces too at least for the next 20 years!
Several Casinos are also near Downtown Summerlin. Red Rock Casino, Sun Coast and The J.W. Marriot. Plenty of restaurants and shopping also surround the Summerlin Community. The Vegas Golden Knights as well as The Oakland A’s Triple A Basball Team have facilities in Downtown Summerlin. The Red Rock Conservation Area is also located a few miles to the west of Downtown Summerlin. There is so much to do in this area, it’s worth checking out!
