January 28, 2022Kestrel Summerlin, Redpoint Summerlin and Redpoint Square Summerlin
For all of you interested in the most current, up to date Summerlin news, here you go! First off, Redpoint Summerlin and Repoint Square Summerlin are off to an amazing start. Only after 14 months into both projects we are seeing some completed and some almost done.
Most communities have seen a huge demand in the area and pricing has gone. New subdivisions are taking shape faster in areas of Summerlin West we have not seen before. For example, Taylor Morrison Summerlin and Woodside Homes Summerlin are the first to build here!
This now takes us to Kestrel Summerlin. As you can see on the map to the left, Kestrel Summerlin will be located just west of the 215 at the Lake Mead off ramp. It is also just south of Reverence Summerlin. The goal with Summerlin West is to connect everything from Far Hills and the 215 all the way up to Lake Mead and the 215. Kestrel and Kestrel Commons will be west of the 215. To the east of these 2 subdivisions you will have a commerical zone which is needed for the residents of Reverence Summerlin.
2 New Subdivisions Now Under Construction…
Talyor Morrison Summerlin and Woodside Homes Summerlin will be the first two builders to offer single family housing to this brand new subdivision. More than likely these homes will not be selling until some time next year. Right now, you can see that under ground utilites are starting. Water mains, sewers and more are starting to come into the area to support these new homes. Dirt roads have been started in the area. These dirt roads now connect into Repdoint Summerlin and Redpoint Square Summerlin.
In addition, Crested Canyon by Taylor Morrison was the first sign spotted in this area a few months ago. Yesterday, I saw a new sign from Woodside Homes. Falcon Crest by Woodside Homes will be similar in design to those found at Bixby Creek in Stonebridge Summerlin. As for Taylor Morrison’s Crested Canyon there is no word yet as to what these properties will look like. More than likely construction on both of these projects will see more action to them at the start of next year.
In Closing…
Summerlin West will continue to see growth and development into the next 15-20 years. Summerlin West once built out will have 14 subdivisions that will make up that community. More commercial development will rise up in the Urban Core area just north of Redpoint Square. Summerlin Parkway will be a grand entrance into Summerlin West. The amount of growth and potential for this area will be quite amazing and will offer people in Summerlin more housing to chose from. All of these areas will be connected and will have parks, recreation and much more coming into the community.
