Why Move to Las Vegas From Los Angeles?
One of the biggest reasons why people move from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is for the lower cost of living. In general, goods and services are significantly cheaper in Vegas than they are in LA. Housing costs are especially affordable, with the median home price in Vegas being just over $450,000 compared to nearly $850,000 in LA. This can be a huge relief for your wallet, especially if you’re used to high prices in Southern California.

Las Vegas Transportation:
Of course, there are downsides to moving as well. One thing you’ll have to get used to is the lack of public transportation in Las Vegas. While LA has an expansive and well-used public transportation system, Vegas is much more car-dependent. If you don’t already own a vehicle, you may find yourself having to buy one once you make the move.
The Vegas freeway system consists of the 215 Beltway which is a giant circle that surrounds the city. Interstate 15 goes north and south through the heart of Las Vegas. The 95 and 95 freeways take you to the north and south parts of Nevada. Traffic is usually very light and some what busy during rush hour traffic in the mornings and afternoons.
Conclusion:
Only you can decide whether or not moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is right for you. There are advantages and disadvantages to weigh before making your decision. But if you’re looking for a change of pace and a more affordable cost of living, Sin City may be just what you’re looking for.
