Creech Air Force Base is roughly a 30 minute drive north of Skye Canyon on the 95 freeway. Nellis Air Force Base is roughly a 20-25 minute drive from the 215 freeway to the 15 freeway.

As a master-planned community, Skye Canyon Las Vegas features community parks, walking trails, a community gym, and a pool. There is also a Smith's Marketplace for all of your food shopping.

The master-planned community features one-story and two-story homes and it’s close to Mt Charleston, as well as plenty of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment is all nearby for you to explore.

Smith's Food and Drug has an amazing must see super market! Wine tasting, a deli, and much more inside one huge market. The shopping center currently has a Chase Bank, Burger King, Tropical Smoothie, Domino's Pizza, and much more is on the way! Everything is within a quick drive or walk if you live in Skye Canyon.  Bob's Big Boy Tavern is now open and a Taco Bell is on the way too.
